Doctors Maureen and Mavis begin to perform an autopsy on a “John Doe,” when they recognize the body as a local television celebrity car salesman, Mortimer Goldfinch, “Get twice the car at half the price.”
Suddenly Madeline enters with a gun along with Martha, Mortimer’s wife. Madeline, the liposuction expert, and Martha insist Mortimer’s identity remain hidden. “We can’t let it out that Morty was doing liposuction,” says Martha, adding as an after thought, “Or that he’s dead! It will ruin the business.”

Molly McNamara, the woman from upstairs, appears on the scene and proposes a solution.
