Three women.
An estate sale brings together two unlikely individuals: 75-year old Barbara who is white, blind and racist, and Jasmine, a black woman in her 20’s. on.
Barbara is selling all of her belongings to marry a man she met on vacation three months ago. Jasmine tries on one of Barbara’s a sleek 60s-style dresses, and it looks great on her. Sold.
At Barbara’s prompting, her daughter Violet shares a photo of Barbara wearing the dress in 1964 holding a protest sign that reads, “Keep our schools white.”
Oh, and the man Barbara intends to marry? He’s black. Barbara is too blind to notice and simply does not believe he’s black.
