Four characters, two characters the same gender.
Sam gets into an auto accident and says some things he wishes he hadn’t. Fortunately, his analyst has a recording of the event, which he can pause and rewind, giving Sam the opportunity to correct his responses in light of new information.
Upon reflection, Sam wishes he’d known then what he knows now and realizes this “pause button” could make him a better person.
